Terms of Service

The terms for using the Stereo Base website and asking us for a quote.

Effective October 19, 2026 · Last updated October 19, 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at stereobase.com (the “Website”), operated by Stereo Base (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Website or submitting a request through it, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.

These Terms cover the Website only. Installation and other work at our shop is covered by the quote, work order, invoice and warranty terms you receive for that work. If those conflict with these Terms about the work itself, they govern to the extent permitted by law.

2. Permitted Use of the Website

You may use the Website to learn about our services, contact us, and request quotes. You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Submit information on behalf of another person without their permission.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to submit spam or interfere with the Website.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Introduce malicious code or otherwise interfere with the Website’s operation or security.
  • Copy, scrape, or commercially exploit Website content without our written permission, except as permitted by law.

3. Prices, Quotes, and Installation Services

Prices on the Website, including on our pricing page, are starting prices for general information. Your price depends on your vehicle’s year, make and model, the products you choose, and the work involved.

Submitting a form, calling, texting, or emailing us does not create a contract or commit either of us to any work. We confirm the price before any work starts.

Shade previews, including the tint shade tuner, are illustrations only. Actual film appearance varies with your vehicle’s glass and lighting. You are responsible for choosing a shade that is legal where you drive; we are happy to advise.

Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer or as stated on your invoice. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot be limited under California law.

4. Information You Send Us

You agree to give accurate information when you contact us. You keep ownership of any photos or materials you send, and allow us to use them only as needed to answer your request and do the work. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Calls, Text Messages, and Emails

If you give us your contact information and the applicable consent, Stereo Base may contact you about your request, appointment, or install.

Consent to receive marketing calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for help. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

Website content, including text, logos, photographs, graphics, videos, and design, is owned by Stereo Base or used under license, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights reserved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use Website content, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement, without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

Product brands named on the Website (for example Alpine, Kenwood, Viper, XPEL, or SunTek) are the trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe products we install.

7. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website links to third-party sites such as Google Maps, Yelp, Instagram, and Facebook. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices; their own terms apply.

8. Website Availability and Disclaimer

We work to keep the Website accurate and available, but do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or up to date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

This applies to the Website only, not to products we sell or work we perform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stereo Base is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, or changes rights and obligations that apply to work we perform on your vehicle.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Subject to applicable law, disputes about these Terms or the Website will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Alameda County, California.

12. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about your use of the Website.
